Default Golden State Off To Their Best Start in 14 Years

The Golden State Warriors had a great first month of the season capped off by a win over Sacramento last night.

Jason Richardson scored a season-high 33 points, and Baron Davis added 25 points and 16 assists as Golden State beat Sacramento 113-106 for its fourth straight win.

The Warriors (11-6) have their best start since winning 12 of their first 17 games in 1991-92, and had their winningest month since March 1992. "I think we're off to a good start. But that's what it is: a start," Golden State's Mike Dunleavy said. "We're on the right track. We have a winning record, we're at the top of our division, but it's only a start."

"They have a nice team," Kings coach Rick Adelman said. "I think they're learning how to win. That's important. They had some success early and it's probably carrying over for them."
