Betting On Multiple Games

By Tom Wilkinson

A sports bettor is unlikely to avoid the eventual fact of sports betting life, particularly in sports such as college football on a Saturday, in which he has more than one sports betting wager against the odds going at the same time. The trick to a sports bettor handling these situations when the come up is for the sports bettor to correctly handle and organize his sports betting gambling bankroll.

Let’s say on a college football Saturday that a sports bettor ends up with 9 games to bet on against the odds at his favorite sports gambling house. Let’s also assume that throughout the day and evening these games will often run into each other including the busy mid afternoon portion in which five of the nine games will be going on simultaneously, though in different stages. The sports bettor must play ahead for such scenarios, as they are unavoidable, even in pro football. sports bettors that make sports wagers on college basketball face this dilemma more than any other group of sports bettors.

A sports bettor should determine his bankroll before the season starts and then divide that bankroll by eighteen, which is the amount of regular season football weekends if you include college and pro football combined. The amount of the opening bankroll divided by 18 will be the dollar amount of the sports bettor’s bankroll each week of the season. The advantage of this should be obvious. If a sports bettor has a horrible weekend against the sports gambling house or sportsbooks he will not lose his entire bankroll but, in a worse case scenario, just 1/18th of it assuming the worst in which he lost all of his sports wagers against the sports odds.

Another factor to take into account is a sports bettor that has several different accounts at a variety of sports gambling house. It is important for the sports bettor to keep track of his different bets against the sports odds at these sports gambling house as it can become easy for a sports bettor to get confused.

A sports bettor that is winning at online sportsbooks can adjust his bankroll to be the total divided by weeks remaining in the season.
